twenty seven

My twenty-seventh birthday  was such an amazing day spent in Cape Town. I was happiest  about spending it with my best friend and someone I cherish so much. It started off with breakfast at the hotel, the Southern Sun Cape Sun, which I enjoyed everyday that we were staying there. Then we went upstairs to shower and get ready to start the day but then there was a knock at the door and it was a masseuse who was there to give me a 90 minute massage. It was such a thoughtful and heavenly good surprise and it was the best massage I have ever had.

Afterward we showered and went for our drive along the coast, we passed quite a few coastal towns like Kalk Bay, Fish Hoek, Simons Town, Muizenberg just soaking up their beauty and simplicity. We stopped at one of the parks ( I forgot the name) to see the penguins, they were so cute and were willing to pose for millions of pictures. We also stopped at another National Park to see where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet, I think it’s called Cape Point. When we got to the top of the hill to see the oceans, it was raining and windy but the weather just made it more memorable. We carried on with our drive and we ended up at Camps Bay for dinner and to watch the sun set, it’s just stunning. We also passed Sea Point which held some great childhood memories there of our family trips to Cape Town which was a great way to end off my special day.
