dirty soap

With the current rise and rise of reality shows, soap opera’s are getting axed one by one. So it’s not surprising that there’s new reality show called Dirty Soap with a cast filled with soap stars. I watched the first episode and it looks pretty interesting so far and it’s so weird to see these starts battle personal drama’s because soap opera’s are always so over the top. The cast includes Jenna & Galen Gering who are married, Galen is currently on Days of our Lives and Jenna is a stay at home mom but she has acted in soapies before because I recognised her but I just can’t remember where. Kirsten Storms who is currently on General Hospital used to play Bella in Days of our Lives and Kelly Monaco who is also currently on General Hospital. Brandon Beemer who is currently on The Bold and the Beautiful is also on the show with his girlfriend Nadia Bjorlin who used to play Chloe Lane in Days of our Lives. The last couple on the show is Farah Fath who used to be in Days of our Lives as Mimi Lockhart and was recently on the axed show  One life to Live.Farah is on the show with her boyfriend John-Paul Lavoisier who was also on One life to Live. The show is currently on E! Entertainment Channel 124 on Tuesdays at 22:00.

#30DC day three: my day in great detail

I woke up today not feeling too great, my body was still in pain from my gym session on Tuesday and my nose was runny but I had to go to the gym for my session with Sechaba.  We started with the rowing machine which was not so bad, then the some upper body exercises followed by cardio, I was still coping. We then did some sit ups and this was awful, I had to do 60 and I was sweating and gasping for breath. I then went on the bike for 10 minutes and then it was finally over and I felt good! I then drove home and thank God there wasn’t a lot of traffic. I started feeling really sick when I got home so I smsed my manager to let him know that I won’t be coming in to work today. I then realised that I left my laptop at work yesterday and I needed it to be able to work from home. So I showered and got dressed and left for the office at the same time as my husband (we work for the same company).  I quickly got to my desk packed up my laptop before anyone could see me and met up with Ayanda at the lifts and we chatted whilst walking to my car. I haven’t seen Ayanda since Monday we kept missing each other so it was good to catch up.

I then drove to Plasticland in Woodmead because I need shoe boxes and some sort of storage for all of my nail polish. I found shoe boxes at R40 each which is quite pricey but they are perfect and are way more durable than the ones that I currently have so I have decided to buy a few every month and eventually I will have enough. I don’t like keeping my shoes in a heap in the closet coz they get ruined so much quicker so the shoes boxes are a must. I am yet to find storage for my nail polish and this is so bad because I own so many. I then drove to Woolies to get a few groceries and headed for home to spend my sick day. I have cooked two meals for my husband who will have the luxury of choosing what he would like for supper. I am currently watching TV and writing this post, I hope that was detailed enough. Enjoy your day!

kelly khumalo on TL

Since Sbu Mpungose left True Love Magazine, I stopped buying it simply because the magazine just lacked relevant content and I felt like I had already read everything they had to say elsewhere. I bought the True Love magazine yesterday (actually my husband bought it, he drove to about four or five petrol garages before hr found it, love *sigh*)solely for the Kelly Khumalo story, she is on the cover of the March 2012 edition. The story is quite interesting, she is very open about her relationship with Molemo Maaronhanye more famously known as Jub-Jub and reveals in detail a lot about their drug habit and the court trial as well. She is currently attending Narcotics Anonymous meetings and seems to be trying to get her life back together after having finally left Molemo and their destructive relationship. I think it’s definitely worth reading.
