A few looks from the 2013 MTN SAMA awards.
Khaya Mthethwa’s second single is called Lil Means a lot, the song is cool but I really wish Khaya wouldn’t dance. He just needs to sing, we love his voice.
This show has crept up on me like a rash, I am so hooked. And it is because the show keeps getting better every week. So basically the show has seven celebrity choir masters (Thembi Seete, Khaya Mthethwa, Zakes Bantwini, Judith Sephuma, Winnie, Zwai Bala and Sipho Hotstix Mabuse) who have chosen 20 people from different provinces to be part of their choirs. Every week they have different music themes for the choirs to sing and as the recipe for reality shows goes, there’s always some drama amongst the choir members and sometimes even with the choir masters. The show is hosted by your girl B, Bonang Matheba and the judges are Radio DJ Anele Mdoda, Gospel Artist Rebecca Malope and Lindelani Mkhize of Joyous Celebration fame. My favourite teams are Team Zakes, Zwai and Khaya. These guys are all so talented in different ways and this comes through in their choirs, it is just amazing. It is on the Mzansi Magic Channel 161 on Sundays at 17:30. L-O-V-I-N-G it!
If you’re watching the current season of Idols SA, then you must know who Khaya Mthethwa is, he is being tagged to be the first black winner of Idols. I went to watch the Joyous Celebration 16 concert in April this year at the SA State Theatre in Pretoria and loved it, I wanted to share Khaya’s performance with you, he is so talented, born for the stage! He led the opening medley.
